It’s a lovely sunny day out here. There’s no wind and the sky is blue. But the sun is far less hot at this time of year. There’s only a handful of shriveled up dry leaves on the peach tree. But the lemon tree is covered in lemons. New lemons, still slightly green.

There’s two sheep down by the river today. They must have gotten out of their field. They’re taking their chance to gobble up the lush grass by the river. A heavy rain shower just went through and all the leaves of the trees are dripping water around me.

There’s no wind at the moment. It’s really nice out here. A little New Holland Honeyeater just flew low, right above my head. It’s forecast to rain quite a lot this evening. I’m wondering if the causeway, to come to this other side of the river, is going to go under soon for all of […]
