From the Park Bench

Just went for a beautiful swim. It’s very calm today. The water felt warm. I love this beach, it’s so gorgeous.

Just a typical evening down by the river. It’s not very peaceful because of the Corellas. But I’m always glad I got outside.

It’s another perfect day out here. I’ve been watching my neighbour’s tree blowing in the breeze. It is a beautiful tree.

I just love sitting out here in the sun. It’s my favourite thing to do after work. I love this purple flower. I think it might be called a Society Garlic. It’s in a pot on my Back Deck.

There’s a very gentle breeze sitting here. The late afternoon sun is dappling through the leaves. I saw two Black Cockatoos fly over before. They are one of my favourite birds.

It’s windy at the beach, and not hot. I went for a swim before though and the water was lovely. The only birds here at the moment are the Seagulls.

The flock is here today. They are getting ready to roost tonight. All of the trees are full of them.

I haven’t been here in a long time, but I like it just as much as the first time. This morning there was a bit of fog. But most of its disappeared now. There’s Magpies singing in the field. I saw some Noisy Miners too.

It’s just another beautiful afternoon on the Back Deck, there’s a gentle breeze and the sun is warm. I can hear the Wrens in the distance. I’m wondering what to take a picture of, maybe some of the first apples of the tree.

There’s a big flock of Sulphur Crested Cockatoos at the Lily Pond today. There’s also the usual Eastern Rosella flock that I often see here. I saw some Pigeons and the Noisy Miners. I haven’t been here in a while and it’s really nice to be back. Over the next few weeks I might try […]
