I’m already feeling nostalgic about summer. Even though it’s only the first day of March, it just feels like already the days are that little bit shorter. It is very warm and humid today. I can hear the air conditioner droning away behind me, and the crickets everywhere in the backyard. It smells like freshly cut lawn. Which to me smells like summer because the clippings only smell like this when it is sunny and warm. I do love summer.
Here is a picture of one of the planters on my back deck. It’s a ‘nursery’ planter, where all kinds of random things grow before being planted out elsewhere.
