My mother has a beautiful garden. She has a pond and a fountain surrounded by grasses and potted plants. It’s full of flowers, hanging plants, ferns and fruit trees. It’s a gorgeous day out here, warm with a gentle breeze. The sunlight is dappling through the dwarf gumtree leaves. We are sitting out here with an almond cake for afternoon tea.
