It’s an incredibly still night. Not a breath of wind. It is just beautiful. A beautiful sunset, and it feels like a summer night. It is so warm and still, and it smells like summer too. I’m swatting mosquitoes on the back deck.
I can hear sheep dogs barking and sheep baaing. I think they must be being rounded up in the fields that are around a kilometer away. Sound is traveling so well. Our Blackbird is sitting on the top of our neighbour’s roof, singing to the sunset.
