It’s sunset and the colours are soft. There’s a bunch of birds having noisy argument in the primrose near the back fence. The frogs are also really loud in the field behind. It’s cool, and the breeze is blowing the golden clouds swiftly across the sky.
I felt like I didn’t have time to sit here because I was cooking dinner. But now that I’m out here, it’s just so lovely. As always, I’m really glad whenever I take a moment to sit. It’s a flock of New Holland Honeyeaters and Sparrows making all the noise. Our resident Blackbird’s here too, but he’s hopping silently across the lawn. His nest is in our mandarin tree.
