Day 361 – By the Way Bench

There’s a big flock of Red-rumped Parrots here. They’re picking through the grass, and there’s some whistling to each other in the trees. There’s also a Bronzewing pigeon that I don’t see here very often. There’s all kinds of little interesting birds. New Holland Honeyeaters. Some type of either Swallows or Tree Martins. The White-plumed Honeyeaters.

It’s beautiful. Well it feels like I’ve done a full circle and I’m back to where I started at this Bench. It’s been a wonderful year. I feel quite certain that Benching and Birdwatching are going to be a regular part of my life from now on.

You can hear the Red-rumped Parrot in the tree above me chattering away in the recording.
