I was sitting here thinking it was as bit of an uneventful Benching day. Then along came some Moorhens with a fluffy little baby. He is just so cute. He stumbled on the bank before, and rolled over a little bit. He fell on a Corella feather and, because he was wet, a Corella feather stuck to his back. So he’s this little black fluffy thing with a bright white feather stuck to his back. It’s just so cute and funny. There’s also the White-plumed Honeyeaters here today.
