I see kangaroos bouncing through the dry fields. It’s hot, it’s windy, there’s flies all around me, and the Murray River down there is flooded.
There was sandbags all down the main street in Mannum when we drove through this morning. Some houses are already underwater. A lot of people closest to the river have been left to do their own personal sandbagging for their houses. It’s quite a thing actually, I feel sorry for them. It would be so stressful.
