The sunset is very pink tonight. It’s making everything look pink. All of my pot plants, the bucket of apples we’ve picked to make apple pie filling to put in the freezer over winter are all tinged pink with the sunset light. Tonight’s different too because it’s cold enough for some people to have lit their wood fires. I haven’t smelled this smell in months. It feels like summer is over today.
