There’s a Black-shouldered Kite above the Bench today. He’s hunting in the field beside the pond. They’re amazing birds, white with red eyes, and this black pattern on the tips of the underside of their wings. Day 68 – Lily Pond Bench

All the lily flowers are open today. It’s just beautiful. They must open up on the sunny days. They are standing proudly on their little stalks and opening up their perfect little petals to the sun. Some have little tinges of pink and others are pure waxy white. Gorgeous.
