Day 39 – Big Old Tree Bench

There’s a stiff breeze blowing up the river from the south. It’s making ripples on the surface of the river, and it looks so lovely. It’s rippling past me, reflecting the sky and the leaves.

There’s so many butterflies around today. It must be the season for these orange butterflies. I think they are the Monarch Butterflies. I can see one that must have been eaten by a bird, because there’s nothing but it’s wing left in the dust.
