Day 24 – Northern Bench

The birds are settling in for the night down by the river. I just saw two white eared honeyeaters chasing a red wattlebird. They were flashing and ducking and weaving through the branches of the trees.

We’re having leaf races down in the river. The river is now very narrow and it’s going under the causeway not over. It’s perfect for dropping leaves on one side and watching them come out the other.
