I love doing this bench thing. Today, I walked down to the lily pond with my gumboots in a plastic bag because I wanted to get a close up photo of a flower. I waded in. The mud at the edge was that special kind of thick, goopy, slimy pond mud. I made my way over the uneven tussocks of grass and between the reeds to get this photo.
I just love the randomness of it. I never would have been here in my gumboots, doing this and having so much fun, if I hadn’t been doing this blog.
My friend the Wedge-tailed Eagle is also here today. He’s soaring around high up there in the clouds. Today, he goes in and out of view, as he goes behind the lower level clouds.
