Just admiring the beautiful fresh green leaves on the peach tree. Sitting in the sun. There’s Rainbow Lorikeets, Crows and Corellas. The Wrens were here earlier too.

Another Bench under the same oak tree. They are both beautiful. The sheep are right next door today. There’s a warm breeze. The Black Cockatoos have been around all day yesterday and today. I love it.

The whole flock is here! There are white birds swooping everywhere. There are white feathers all over the ground. And there is one Corella sitting unusually quietly above me. I’m going to take a photo of him.

Well, today’s the day. The moment I’ve been waiting for for months – to be able to cross the causeway to get to the other side easily. The river’s now around 60 centimetres deep. There is bugs everywhere though. Trillions of them.

Just got back from the beach. It’s funny, I go to the beach often, but I don’t often sit and bench there. I guess it’s because I’m usually too keen to get into the water to go snorkelling, or surfing, or bodysurfing. There was sea fog at the beach this morning, so it wasn’t sunny. […]

What a wonderful sky and sunset. It’s a warm night, and I’m taking a moment to sit on the Bench before I pack the car and put the boards on the roof. Getting ready to leave early for the beach tomorrow.
