I’ve walked all the way around to check this flood marker. It looks like it’s at 2.65 metres. Quite different to the summer level I saw on Day 35 when it was below 40 centimetres.

It’s just beautiful down here by the river at sunrise. The crows have just woken up and have been flying around calling loudly. My little friend, the willy wagtail, is in the middle of the path slowly dancing his way towards me.

I was having a really tough day. My son was having a tough day. He’s very upset. And then as soon as we both came outside, it feels different. It feels lighter, even though the sky is grey.

It’s very windy today, stormy. Another storm is coming tonight. There was one last night. The river is up today. There’s also a big group of red rumped parrots here. In the photo, there’s four of them flying away, if you look very closely. Two of them are females, which can be harder to spot. […]

Well, the Bench isn’t very relaxing today. There’s a couple of dogs that are misbehaving. They’re fighting and biting and the owners are shouting at them. It’s set all the local dogs off that are in their backyards. But it’s always nice to get outside I suppose.

The masked lapwings next to the tennis court have had babies. There’s fluffy little chicks running around. They can be really noisy if anything disturbs them.
