It feels like winter out here. The wind is freezing my fingers and toes, nose and cheeks. The frogs in the field behind are croaking. It’s just me out here, with the first star and the last light of day.

Sitting here this morning there is a gentle breeze in the trees and their leaves are rustling softly. There are birds singing and the occasional bee buzzing. It’s just utter perfection. The softness is everywhere. The breeze touches my face. Such a beautiful blue sky day.

I went for a surf this morning, and had a fantastic time for a couple hours. Then I got home and had to go straight to bed because I was so wiped out. I spent the afternoon in bed, and now my whole body is sore. It’s literally difficult to sit upright. Sitting out here […]
